Participant Code of Conduct: COVID-19
- All participants will wear masks that cover both the nose and the mouth.
- If your child is returning from out-of-state travel within 10 days of the first day of the program, you will be required to comply with current Kauai Emergency Management Guidelines for quarantine and post-travel documentation (https://www.kauai.gov/COVID-19).
- Temperatures will be taken as participants enter class. Anyone with a temperature over 100 degrees will be distanced and sent home.
- Participants should sanitize their hands each time they enter the performance space.
- Participants will be offered staggered breaks to observe social distancing.
- Participants with symptoms should stay home and notify program staff for further guidance on when it is safe to return: (fever, chills, cough, shortness or breath, difficulty breathing, sore throat, congestion, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea).
- Participants who experience close contact with a known or suspected case of COVID-19 should stay home and notify program staff for further guidance on when it is safe to return.
- For the duration of the program, participants must not travel away from Kauai and must avoid close contact with unvaccinated travelers who have not cleared local quarantine guidelines
- To observe social distancing, parents are asked to wait outdoors or in their cars until class is over, and to observe 6 ft spacing while signing out their child.
- For performances, all attendees will be asked to complete a screening process. Persons with symptoms or with recent exposure to a known or possible case of COVID-19 will be excluded from attendance. Persons who travel out-of-state within 10 days of the performance will be required to provide appropriate documentation.
