A program for every shining star!

Keiki at Play
In our Keiki at Play program, kids ages 5-7 learn the basics of drama through playing games, singing songs, creating characters and telling stories. These young students will also spend time in the core classes of musical theater; acting, singing and dance, designed specifically for their age group. A weekly rotation of theater workshops hone additional skills onstage and behind the scenes. The program culminates in a Rising Stars Gala Performance and Fundraiser where our Keiki at Play cast performs a short musical they have created for their peers, parents and community.

Am Rising Stars
The AM Program offers fun and unique skill-building classes taught by theater professionals experienced in working with keiki of all ages. Students are led in core classes of musical theater; acting, singing and dance, preparing them for the next level – a full scale production! A weekly rotation of theater workshops hone additional skills onstage and behind the scenes. The program culminates in a Rising Stars Gala Performance and Fundraiser where each of the four groups of students performs a short musical they have created for their peers, parents and community.

PM Program
Students in the PM Program have the opportunity to participate in a musical from auditions (everyone gets a part!) to performances, learning valuable theater skills along the way. Through the context of the production materials and the leadership of qualified professionals, kids will learn theatre etiquette, improvisation, harmony singing, scene/character study and choreography. The culmination of this program; performances onstage for a live audience, is an unforgettable experience!
*Requirement: Students must have attended a previous HCT program OR be currently enrolled in the AM Workshop Program to enroll in the PM
Program.
